Monkey Business in Barra

Barra de Navidad - we have been anticipating arriving here and feeling pressure to get here fast before friends leave. Luckily for us, the weather worked in our favor and we were actually able to do some sailing! We hoped that V'Ger and Rocinante (Dan) would still be here, but we were sadly too late. Ceidlydh was here and also our old boat Windfall.

The kids have been entranced by Chacho, the monkey at the Sands Hotel. He is  very sweet- when he's not biting! He sticks his long monkey arm out and likes to hold hands. He was very taken with our friend Jordan from Sea Turtle. Chacho actually put his arm around Jordan's neck and it appeared they had been buddies for ages. It was very sweet.
