Chess at THE PALAPA OF KNOWLEDGE

Tim has been occupied lately. He has wrangled some of the cruising captains into playing against him at the age old game of chess. In fact, he played all through Carolyne's birthday festivities, stopping only for food and cake and ice cream.

It is so cool that these guys enjoy playing him and that Tim is learning all these complicated moves and strategies. In many cases, he's learning to be a good loser. However, my son is smart and picks up on the tricks of the masters. Not only that, but he's not old enough to drink alcohol. As the afternoon wears on, Tim has an edge on them!
