WINDFALL for sale! (Wednesday, 01/06/10)

"Windfall' is going up for sale! No, it's not what you think. We are not quitting cruising.

I didn't want to say anything until it was set in stone, but looks like the Faulkner Family is going to purchase a larger boat. Now, this endeavor is going to be challenging because the boat needs a new fuel tank and quite probably a new engine. No doubt, there are other things that she's going to need as well that is going to cut into our cruising budget... and not just mildly.

'Hotspur' is a 41' Tartan that will allow our growing family to trip over one another occasionally v.s. all the time. She is a beautiful boat that needs a lot of attention and we feel we are just the four people to take that responsibility on.

'Hotspur' is a center cockpit ketch which will allow us to put the kids in bunks in the forward cabin and Jim and I will be in the aft cabin. We are most happy with the open space and feel she will suitably fit our cruising needs. We'll get a webpage set up for pictures of the new boat.

'Windfall' is a 35' Cal Cruising and she will be aggressively priced for a quick sale! Anyone interested in a cruiser ready vessel needs to contact us ASAP!
