We are headed to La Paz this morning... a 2 nighter. So this will be a quickie. Below is a comparison between May 2009 cruising and May 2010. Buying a new boat is costly... period.

Booze: | $123.23 |

MISC: | $8.88 |
2010 Comparison Total: $1,482.51 | |
HOTSPUR's Expenses | |
Boat Equipment: | $207.63 |
HOTSPUR Engine/Fuel Tank Rebuild: | $4,962.66 |
Marina/Mooring | $530.25 |
2010 GRAND TOTAL: $7,183.05 |
The items listed under "HOTSPUR's Expenses" are additional May 2010 costs related mostly to refurbishing the new boat. I listed these separately because they not an expense that you would have if you already own your boat and have it cruiser ready. Marina fees are a rarity with us, but were necessary to facilitate the engine rebuild, fuel tank repairs, etc... Also, these costs were mostly offset by selling our other boat, 'Windfall'.
