Leaving La Cruz

Jim and I have established that we will be leaving La Cruz tomorrow afternoon and heading to Tenacatita. That is... unless something happens. I am making the final trip to Walmart today to stock up on whatever else we need. Tomorrow, I am heading for my last trip to the IMS office in Bucerias and will hopefully have a document waiting for me that allows me to stay in the country.

Our SSB/HAM seems to be working nicely and have 100% power. Unfortunately though, when we turn the unit on sometimes the numbers disappear... leaving us to guess what frequency we are on. I swear! And swear some more! Jim Googled it and I don't know if there is anything we can do about it. We are looking forward to testing it when we're out of the marina. I promised Rich on Third Day that if he brought us our tuner and it worked that I would take a Net. I'll have to know whether or not I'm on 8mgs or 4 mgs, though.
