Yes, Mam... Yes, Pap (Tuesday 11/24/09)
I can’t talk about La Paz, or even Mexico for that matter, without mentioning the fabulous healthcare practices and prices! Dentists, Dermatologists, Internists... you name it.
DISCLAIMER: Okay Men, only read this if you’re understanding about women's healthcare or wear a long ponytail. There is nothing graphic in the content, but I consider not discussing this a sin. Consider yourself warned! Some men (Patrick) may get queasy (Patrick) with the mere idea (Patrick) of a pap or mammogram exam (PATRICK!).

La Paz... Redeemed (Monday, 11/23/09)
We met up with old friends... quite a few of them here in La Paz. What a nice treat to see folks you've met while cruising along the way. Of course, Just A Minute and Third Day arriving was also an awaited pleasure. Low and behold... they're anchored next to us. The 'instigator' I talked about before must have pulled every hair out of his head by now... poor guy.

Wind Surfing (Friday, 11/20/09)
Anchored at San Francisquito, held up there for six nights due to nasty winds outside the anchorage, Windfall got a special treat. Rick on Lymerick is an avid wind surfing dude. Once he arrived in the anchorage he called us on the radio and asked if there were any of us who would like to give it a try.

Loreto Farmer's Market (Sunday, 11/15/09)
Puerto Escondido is an awesome anchorage, but if you don’t have a car to get you to Loreto to provision, it can cost you anywhere from $40US-$75US to rent a vehicle. Our friend in Nopolo, Ann, emailed and offered to drive me to the Sunday Farmer’s Market in Loreto. What a treat!

Cruising Dogs Aboard (Friday 11/13/09)
Bailey is an older dog (12)... 84 years old she is, in human time. She has made the transition from house-dog to cruising-dog in the past year remarkably well. She has such a good disposition and outlook... as long as she’s with people (her people - that would be us), she’s happy.

Watermakers - the difference between ‘Camping’ and ‘Cruising’! (Thursday 11/12/09)
Is Windfall camping or cruising? When we purchased our boat back in 2006, she came with an older PUR35 water maker, which converts sea water into potable drinking water... one gallon every 45 minutes.
