Still in Santa Rosalia... a small problem

Santa Rosalia is unbearably hot... in the upper 90's with 87% humidity... it's like being a human teardrop!

We're heading to Isla San Marcos today and we'll hang out in Sweet Pea Cove. The breeze is cooler there and the water is clean. I can't wait!

The reason we haven't headed further north to join our cruising friends yet is simple. We are waiting on our refrigerator. We have ordered it and sent it to a friend in California. He is hoping to bring it to us down here and we'll take him fishing when he arrives. We decided that we cannot live without a fridge! They ice we had been freezing in our Engel freezer and then using as an ice block in the cold box is not keeping up in this heat. Therefore, we're biting the bullet and spending another grand or so to get the fridge situation resolved.

The boat came with a fridge and freezer, but it was a 120volt system... since we're not big marina customers, that won't work for us. We need something that will run off the solar panels.

Still no word from Don when he might be coming down. Hurricane season is upon us and we need to head out of here soon!
