Blue Moon and Eyoni Evening

Last night in La Cruz: spent with fine friends, fantastic food and a very large bottle of tequila. Jo and Rob on Blue Moon will be heading to the South Pacific soon. Then, home to New Zealand. Eyoni will be headed south with us and we look forward to when we catch up in the same anchorage. Our children spent the evening aboard Hotspur watching movies and eating hotdogs, allowing us adult conversation without little person interruptions. Jo outdid herself with the meal and we were laughing freely until we realized it was after 11pm. This is well past cruiser's midnight. 

We are celebrating many things: Rob's health - he has beat an aggressive cancer and Jo's food regimen has helped him immensely. He's in great spirits and no, he is  not drunk in the photos, though he looks like it. We celebrate our friendship and our last time together. It's not goodbye, it's farewell until next time.
