Mulegé & Bahía Concepción - Santispac

Tim, Aeron, Mera, Carolyne & JaimeSpent the night anchored at Santo Domingo. Motored to Mulegé in the morning and dropped anchor. Very grassy, so anchor didn't set and we had to do it all over again. Jim stayed on board to make sure we didn't drag off somewhere and the kids and I went into Mulegé for fresh produce and beer. Didn't set off for trek early enough in the day... hot by 10am! The 2 mile hike down a dirt road would usually not be a problem. However, the kids and I were grateful to local family who offered us a ride to the church. We found a nice grocery and loaded up... after standing in front of their fan for a bit! Took taxi back to beach and had fabulous sail at 7 knots all the way down to Santispac.

Weather is in the 90's and the water temp is in the mid 80's. Crossed paths with "Don Quixote" once again. Our kids and their kids have been swimming relentlessly since we've arrived in Bahía Concepción. We all got together and had late lunch at Ana's Restaurant.
