Clam Bake at Isla Coyote

Just A Minute with Patrick, Laura, Jack and Rudy-Dog came in! We haven't seen them since LoretoFest and so we were most happy to connect with them. The water was clear off Isla Coyote and warm enough to spend all day wallowing and floating about. We agreed to meet for dinner aboard Just a Minute along with the crew from Don Quixote. We all prepared side dishes and desserts and collaborated a potluck clam bake on Just A Minute, a 38 foot Lagoon catamaran. We had a blast! Some of the clams we steamed and dipped in hot butter and garlic. Others we grilled and smothered in barbecue sauce, soy and wasabi or plain prepared horseradish. Patrick went out on a limb and "ceviched" some whole and the braver individuals enjoyed them raw. The kids played "pirate" games all night!
